The COVID pandemic has already had a significant impact on our lives. It is likely to continue for some time. The ACT Justices of the Peace Association, which supports most of the JP Signing Centres across Canberra, has reluctantly decided to close the Signing Centres until further notice. More than two hundred individuals have commenced training to become Justices of the Peace (JPs). The mandatory qualification training began in September and will continue until the end of October. It is the largest number of persons to be trained to secure a JP commission over such short period of time.
